Lovely violin concert
LAST Thursday lunchtime it was lovely hearing a concert given by two young violinists from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra who were in Japan at the time of the country's disastrous earthquake in March, accompanied by three other musicians.
They were playing in the airy, beautiful and interesting church of St Barnabas to raise money for Japan. I wouldn’t have missed it. I read about it being on in the Bexhill-on-Sea Observer - thank you!
