Is it any wonder?

Is it any wonder that without it we may well be on standpipes by now? It’s a fact that our aging sewerage system and water reserves are completely inadequate for our area’s increasing population and housing programme.

Unfortunately, it’s just not possible to alter all the under-sized sewerage systems and water mains pipe work that lie under the older parts of Littlehampton and Rustington, nor to increase our reservoir’s, yet still we are destined for more houses.

Like our roads, our jobs, dentists and doctors, and our lack of a hospital, it is all going to get a lot worse.

This problem obviously can not affect any of the actual planners themselves, though!
