Ale, food and music festival in Amberley

This year is the ninth Ale at Amberley, a three day beer festival set in the beautiful rolling Sussex Downs. Over 80 real ales, ciders and perries, many locally produced, will be available with a selection of hot food and a variety of music to keep your feet tapping.

In the daytime on Friday August 29, Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31, bars are open from 12noon to 4pm.

Tickets are normal museum entry so you can buy these on arrival from 10am and enjoy the full museum at no extra cost, which is open until 5pm.

Amberley Museum is a 36 acre site set in the South Downs National Park dedicated to industrial heritage, with communications and electricity exhibition halls, working printshop, stationary engines, lime kilns and more. Visitors can take a ride on the narrow gauge railway or historic bus.

The museum is home to a variety of traditional crafts people, such as the wheelwrights, blacksmith and potters, with a café, gift shop and nature trails.
