Hooked on signs
DRIVING through Rose Green recently caused me to wonder if I needed to book into Specsavers to check for suspected double-vision (pictured below). Fortunately, others have also seen this so my worries have been allayed.
Is this simply a case of ‘too many Hooks’, or quite simply, because of the stunning views of the Downs that can be gleaned from Hook Lane, it was so good that they named it twice?
Perhaps readers may have other suggestions.
