Leonard Cheshire Disability provides services in support of disabled people in the widest context: care at home; supported living; domiciliary support; day services; rehabilitation and respite care. One of the residents at their home in Rustington, St Bridget’s, would like to go out to the shops, the sea and to social events, but to achieve this they need some help. Could you do this? An interest in rugby and most genres of popular music would be welcome. You will also need a good sense of humour, clear communication, be able to keep your composure and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Volunteers for their charity shop in Rustington are also required.

Launch Pad is a free breakfast club that runs before school every day during term-time. More volunteers are needed to assist the team in giving up to 40 children a healthy and nutritious start to the day. Tasks would include: preparing fruit, setting the tables, helping the children to make informed choices, joining in with craft activities, clearing away and encouraging children to brush their teeth. Help is required from 7.30am until 9am, term-time only.
