Off to Sandwich after special lunch
SOME 40 members of Bexhill's Civil Servants' Retirement Fellowship enjoyed a thanksgiving lunch at the Cooden Beach Hotel last week, with all present able to select their meals from a sumptuous carvery.
Megan Traice, chairman of the long-established local group, said: “It was a wonderful meal in great company, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We normally meet once a month for coffee and also arrange various outings, our next being to Sandwich in Kent.”
