Ninfield Bowls Club played a league match on Wednesday, May 29 against Winchelsea. The results were Ninfield 58, Winchelsea 70. Ninfield are hopeful that they will win the return match when they host in the near future. On the afternoon of last Saturday, June 1, the club had a Ladies versus Gents match. As has been for the last few such afternoons, the Gents won. However, I am told that the ladies did their best! The match was followed by fish and chips in the Club House.
