New website offers chance to buy historic West Sussex photos
The office has some of the largest archives of historic pictures in the country.
For the first time, people can go online and browse the collections to buy a copy of an image.

Hide AdFrom blacksmiths and horses through to shots of the Home Guard and wartime weddings, there are dozens of different photographs.
Images can also be put on a jigsaw, coffee mug, mouse mat or keyrings.
Lionel Barnard, West Sussex County Council deputy leader who is responsible for the Record Office, said: “We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful collection of historic photographs in our vaults.
“Whether you want a picture hanging in your home or an unusual photo mug that stands out from the crowd this new site has a great selection to choose from.

Prices range from £5 for a small print, fridge magnet or key ring, through to £15 for a photo t-shirt, £17 for a jigsaw or £100 boxed canvas print.
