New timetable for Bognor train services

The Southern summer timetable takes effect on May 18.

The alterations affect journeys in the morning and evening peak times both to and from Bognor.

Passengers should check station noticeboards for the full details.

Most of the changes will occur on west coastway services. The one exception is the 7.17am Bognor to London Victoria train along the Arun Valley line which will leave a minute earlier along its route.

The changes follow the most extensive timetable rescheduling for decades last December.

John Oliver, Southern's acting commercial director, said: "Southern is continually reviewing the timetabling of train services.

"We took the opportunity to take a close look at the changes that we made to west coastway services last December.

"We listened to comments and suggestions from passengers and stakeholders.

"We believe the changes reflect this feedback and will improve services even more in the area."
