Membership Secretary George Coleman together with fellow members gave Amanda a warm welcome as she was inaugurated into the Club.

To date Amanda’s interesting life includes working in London as a freelance legal consultant before diversifying to retail - running a gift shop in Great Yarmouth. She then moved to Bournemouth where she set up a retail shop.

Amanda moved to Bexhill in 2006 and in 2008 she joined the team at the Hastings & Rother Primary Care Trust providing management assistance on a £16M project - the Station Plaza Health Centre in Hastings.

The centre opened in May 2010 and has been given a prestigious building industry award for ‘Building Better Healthcare’.

As the Station Plaza project was a success and running smoothly, Amanda looked into setting up an Online Marketing business and Talkativeonline was born. This has now become an established business helping local and national businesses with their social media and online internet marketing.

Lion President Richard Winrow said the local club is delighted to have Amanda on board. He said: “Amanda is tenacious as well as a peoples person.

“She loves getting involved in local activities, and getting involved in the Bexhill Lions Club is just another area where her desire to help people can be put to practical and effective use.”

Lion George noted that Amanda was the third new member to have joined the club in the past three months.
