New business venture opens in Little Common

Describing the venue in Little Common as, "The perfect location for my business", proprietor of The Lance Richards Practice, Lance Richards, believes people in the locality will benefit from his 'wealth management service'.

Lance opened the Pear Tree Lane offices in November last year having spent the previous nine years working locally in two major banks, offering financial advice to clients in a managerial capacity.

He explained what 'wealth management" service entails: "Basically it encompasses investment planning, inheritance tax planning, pension planning, personal income protection, saving for childrens school fees, general life insurance and some trust planning."

The reason he chose Little Common to open the business was because, he said: "Well firstly I live in Little Common and have worked within the locality in banking for the past nine years, I therefore have got quite a few clients in this area, that's one reason. Also, I like the position of my office here, directly opposite the post office, because there's parking and it's easy not only for local people to find me but also for anyone who comes from further afield. But the main reason I chose this area is because there's nothing of this type in the village like this."

Lance offers a free personalised consultation service and said: "I develop very good relationships with my customers and many of my clients have become very good friends. I really get to know my clients so the service is at a far higher level."
