Netmums meet-up at Egerton Park

'Netmums' is an on-line community which was set up approximately eight years ago, and volunteering to take the reigns and organise 'meet-ups', for Mum's and their little ones in the Bexhill and surrounding areas, are Kate Cousins and Amanda White.

The first 'meet-up' was held on a perfect, warm late summer's day in Egerton Park and Kate said it had proved to be a great success.

She said: "Netmums offers support to Mums who may be feeling a bit isolated and gives them the opportunity to make new friends. As well as chatting on-line we are planning different events including a night out. This is the first time we have all met each other face to face, and we are all looking forward to getting to know each other."

As well as giving Mums the opportunity to chat, Netmums offers a wealth of info, from advice on PMT to child-friendly cafes and child minders.
