Netherfield

Maria Standen, Swallow Farm

Netherfield Church – The service this Sunday June 9 will be Holy Communion at Brightling, Sunday June 16 a Holy Communion at Mountfield and Sunday June 23 will be a Holy Communion at Netherfield. This is also the Patronal Festival so we are planning to have Pimms and nibbles after the service so hopefully the warmer weather will continue! The final service on Sunday June 30 will be at Brightling and will be an Evensong. With the exception of this service all others will start at 10 am.

Our Coffee Morning is this Saturday the June 8, from 10 a.m. until noon and will have all the usual attractions, some stalls, a raffle and the obvious coffee and something to nibble. It is being hosted by the Parkinson’s at Stoneywood, Netherfield Road, Netherfield. It will be brilliant if summer has arrived by then as the magnificent views to the coast are something to be enjoyed and there is nothing better than to relax in the beautiful garden, take in the view and chat to locals. Everyone is welcome. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.
