Netherfield Church - The service this Sunday, July 28 will be a Holy Communion at Netherfield at 10 am. The first service in August will be a non-Eucharist Family Service at Netherfield also at 10 am.

Tomorrow, Saturday, we are holding a Coffee Morning to raise funds at Oak Lodge, Saxonwood Road, Battle where there will be a warm welcome for everyone. From 10 a.m. until noon with stalls, competitions and a raffle, plus the obligatory coffee and nibbles. Our thanks to Jane Chater for offering to host it and your support would be appreciated.

This month’s quiz at the White Hart saw some six teams entered on a magnificent summers evening. Not often we can say that and it has been a long time coming but great now to enjoy it. The usual good mix of questions from Sean, the friendly competition and banter made for a jolly good evening. Our team won with thanks to Tim, Marg and Karen for their help in achieving this! You really should come and join in. There is a great mix of contestants and a brilliant atmosphere. Thank you as always to Sean for putting it on and for helping to raise £90 for the church. White Hart - There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. White Hart Boules Pitch. The pieste is free to use, any clubs please feel free to come and use the pieste, FOC any time except match days which are Saturday afternoons throughout the season.
