Musical Evening at Christchurch
A MUSICAL evening performed by the Christchurch Singers was held at Christchurch Methodist Church on Saturday evening.
There was no charge to attend the performance, which contained various styles of music, but there was a collection to help raise funds for the church's special Network appeal.
The appeal is for the Pellegrino Project '“ a scheme which helps women who have been trafficked to Italy from Africa, to have a choice and to be empowered to regain their freedom.
The scheme began after a group of women entered a church and asked for a prayer of protection to keep them safe while on the streets.
