MUSEUM GOING INTO STORAGE

More than 25 museum sociedty volunteers have been wrapping and packing for the past month and will be finished in the next few weeks.

The museum has now closed and will be looking for alternative accommodation as its lease runs out at the end of the year.

Ian Friel who has been curatorial advier for 15 years and is helpingto plan and advise on the move, said the collection itself was estimated to contain around 1,500 items.
