MUGGER ATTACKS WOMAN, 87
A MUGGER knocked over an 87-year-old woman and dragged her along the ground before wrenching her handbag containing her persion from her grasp.
The attacker, believed to be in his 30s, struck in Manor Gardens, Old Town, shortly after the pensioner collected her pension.
It was the fifth attack in the town in eight weeks.
The incident prompted a renewed appeal by police sector commander Inspector Max Mosley for the public to come forward with vital information.
The latest attacker is 6ft tall with dark hair and of slim build and was wearing a white shirt.
