Victoria Smart was crowned as Miss Sussex earlier this year, and since then she has been working closely with local charities and businesses to promote opportunities and events within West Sussex.
Victoria said: “Since being crowned I have taken part in several charity events and hosted events of my own, the most successful of which raised approximately £1,000 for various charities including the very local mental health charity, Coastal West Sussex MIND. I continue to organise such events whilst working with local businesses and societies.

As a Miss England finalist I have been provided the opportunity to win a trip to the luxurious island of Mauritius by promoting the destination within my local community.
“I visited Celebration Samba as part of this project as I feel they contribute extreme enthusiasm and brilliant music to local events and festivals through musical performances, comparable to the drumming and dance music performed in Mauritius, which is of extreme importance to their culture.”
Earlier this year, Victoria took to the High Street in Littlehampton to support Coastal West Sussex MIND.
Victoria said, “I feel privileged to fundraise for MIND, as well as raising awareness. MIND is a brilliant organisation that supports many people in or community. Experiencing mental health problems is something that so many people face at some time in their life. Whether it is you, a family member, a friend or someone else you care about, you want to know that the right support is there.”
