Mini Olympics at Bersted's big event

BUDDING athletes can test themselves in a mini Olympics at this year's Bersted Parish Festival.

The sporting celebration will take place at the annual event from 11am-4pm this Sunday at Jubilee Field off Chalcraft Lane.

The entertainment will include a fun dog show. Its categories will include the search for the dog with the waggiest tail and the one which looks most like its owner.

There will also be performances from the air cadets band, the Wonder Girls dancers and Alt Path gymnastics.

Demonstrations and displays will also be given by Bognor Regis model railway fans, Bersted Carpet Bowls Club and Sainsbury’s.

Visitors will be able to enjoy looking around a selection of classic and military vehicles, several stalls and a host of other attractions.

The festival has been organised by Bersted Parish Council for the past few years to provide an extra attraction for residents in the area.
