Man arrested after seafront incident
A man has been arrested following an assault in Grand Parade, Eastbourne, just before 10.40pm on Monday (September 24).
A 26-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of common assault and he remains in custody.
The seafront was cordoned off for a period of time while police dealt with the incident.
