Lottie’s charity snip is on target to raise £1,000

Lottie, who attends Central Sussex College in Haywards Heath, had her long hair cut into a stylish bob to help make wigs for children who lose their own hair through cancer treatment.

Lottie, aged 17, went under the scissors on Saturday and has already raised nearly £900 through her Just Giving page at: justgiving

She said: “This was a massive thing for me to do as I’ve been growing my hair for about ten years now, but it is a worthy cause and I wanted to challenge myself to do something drastic!”

Lottie, who donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, added: “I would love to raise awareness for this wonderful charity and also raise as much money as possible.”

So far, the charity has been able to give away 2,000 real hair wigs thanks to the generosity of people like Lottie, who hopes more people will sponsor her through her Just Giving page.
