Little Common Farmers Market

SPRING was in the air at the Little Common Farmers' Market last thursday as, along with the usual fine array of quality products, there was the addition of a well stocked plant and flower stall selling a variety of colourful spring blooms.

Shoppers to the monthly event, held at St Martha's church hall, also had the opportunity to purchase cheese, organic free range eggs, fruit and veg, rare-breed free range pork, poultry, meats, pies and fairtrade products.

The market is clearly becoming increasingly popular with local people, some suppliers said they did a roaring trade with Bexhill Farm Kitchen selling out of their breads and rolls by 11.30.
