Lions' lunch is a roaring success

Littlehampton District Lions Club held its annual lunch for senior citizens at the Woodlands Centre, Rustington, on Saturday.

Three courses were served to the 96 guests by Lions club members, their partners and friends, assisted by special guests Littlehampton deputy mayor Billy Blanchard-Cooper and Rustington Parish Council chairman Alison Cooper.

After lunch, the guests joined in a singalong with music from Playback, followed by bingo and a raffle.

Lion John Taylor said: “All agreed that it had been a very enjoyable afternoon in the company of friends and eagerly looked forward to next year’s event.”
