Knitter Natter group present blanket to Rainbow nursery
LADIES of Sidley WI 'Knitter & Natter' group presented the Rainbow Childcare day centre with a handmade knitted blanket last week.
The colourful blanket, which nine ladies of the group helped to make was made from thirty five knitted squares and was the idea of WI member Stella Harris.
The Sidley WI members hold their meetings in the same building as the Rainbow nursery and Stella, who is also a voluntry worker at the nursery, said: "I thought it would be nice to make something that shows two seperate organisations helping and cooperating with each other."
Rainbow baby room workers, Sherine and Shelly were delighted with the blanket and Sherine said: "The children really enjoy the blanket and love snuggling into it."
