Kitchen Studio sponsors roundabout

Merlin Kitchen Studio in Bolebrook Road are hoping that by sponsoring the roundabout, which is sited at the end of Sackville Road, near the De La Warr Pavilion, that they will lead the way for other local companies to follow in their footsteps.

One of the companies directors, Tracy Simmons said she came up with the idea to sponsor the roundabout and believes it's a "fresh approach" to advertising, which also coincides with their newly refurbished showroom and new logo.

She said: "Many people are not aware of us or where we are located. I came up with the idea for the roundabout, made enquiries and it went from there."

Tracy's husband and company director Michael Simmons said they will help decide what is planted on the roundabout and hopefully the brilliant blooms, which are on there at the moment, will have some additional turfing, and possibly a central structure of some sort before too long.

He said: "The council will take care of the up-keep the roundabout and we will have a say in whatever is planted. It's all still to be decided, but we believe the structure will have some connection to the De La Warr."

Merlin Kitchen Studio currently have a selection of eighteen stunning kitchens on display in their new, expanded showroom and are open five days a week Tuesday-Saturday.
