Jim steps down after 27 years
BATTLE’S longest-serving town councillor has stepped down from the role after 27 years.
Jim Carter resigned from the role this week due to poor health.
Jim represented the Marley Ward and was a member of Battle Town Council’s Estates Committee.
Jim has also been the local tree warden since 1988.
