Housing site fails to sell

A DEVELOPMENT site in Bognor Regis is back on the market.

The land on the corner of Durban Road and Ash Grove failed to sell at auction.

The plot at 17-18 Durban Road had a guide price of £350,000.

It has planning permission for the former two-storey office block to be demolished and replaced with a three-storey block of 14 flats and off-road parking.

Sam Kinloch, the senior auction valuer at Clive Emson, said: “It may well be that developers come forward in due course, as sometimes happens when a site with housing potential doesn’t sell first time around in auction.”
