Historic one off10k run on Linkroad next year

Bexhill and Hastings Lions clubs have announced a special event that gives runners a once in a lifetime opportunity by taking part in a 10k run on the new Bexhill to Hastings Link Road prior to it’s opening next year.

The Bexhill to Hastings Link Road (BHLR) is set to open in May next year and Bexhill Lions Club President Richard Winrow said the Lions are proud and excited to announce a special ‘one off’ event for 2015, adding: “The Opportunity to run a 10K on the New Bexhill Hastings Link Road, just prior to its opening in May 2015, will be very popular, and prove to be a unique experience, before traffic starts using the New Road.

“It’s a great opportunity for locals to have the experience run the road and have a bit of fun.”
