The event, at Buckhurst Campsite, on Saturday September 19, is raising funds for Molly’s Wish To Walk charity.

Five-year-old Molly May Collins, of Gillsmans Hill, St Leonards, has mixed type four limb cerebral palsy which means she is unable to walk unaided.

Her family wants to take her to the USA to have an operation called selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR), which will help the youngster to walk.

Molly, who was born prematurely on Christmas Day, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was two years old.

Her condition means the muscles in her legs are very tight and cause her pain. She often wakes up in the middle of the night with pain and muscle spasms.

Molly uses her walker and wheelchair to get about. Hastings-based Charity for Kids also bought a special suit to help correct her posture.
