Get ready for Battle Mediaeval Fayre 2013

BATTLE will be buzzing this Bank Holiday weekend with the return of the Battle Mediaeval Fayre.

There will be a host of entertainment and stalls available at the event, which will take place on Sunday and Monday, 10am-5pm on the Abbey Green.

The parade will take place down the High Street on Monday, featuring the May Queen, dancers from Battle and Langton School and the Section 5 Drummers.

Sunday:

10am: Hunters Moon Morris

10.30am: Hands on History

11.30am: Fighting Knights

12.30pm: Merry Maypolers

1pm: Minstrels entertain

1.30pm: Hands on History

2.30pm: Fighting Knights

3pm: Hunters Moon Morris

4pm: Merry Maypolers

Monday:

10.30am: Fighting Knights

11.30am: Hands on History

Noon: Minstrels entertain

1pm: Parade down the High Street

1.30pm: Crowning of the May Queen and children’s maypole dancing

2.30pm: Hands on History

2pm: Minstrels

4pm: Merry Maypolers

The event is organised by the Battle Chamber of Commerce. Free entry.
