Full steam ahead at country show

THE LAUGHTON Country Show was bigger and better than ever this year.

The two day event featured displays of classic cars, vintage motorbikes, military, commercial and fire- fighting vehicles, and of course an impressive array steam engines.

This years' show also included vintage tractors, both static and working, ten acres of trade and craft stalls, and many working areas such as: haymaking, woodchopping and sawing.

On both evenings the entertainment went on through the night, with The 6t's performing on Friday night and The Mersey Beat Legends took the stage on Saturday evening.
