Friends plan reunion

THERE is to be a reunion of the Priory School class of 1975/77.

All those who left after O-levels in 75 and A levels in 77, and anybody who remembers or knew Duncan Horsley, Alice Claxton, Richard Payne or Malcolm Grandis, are welcome.

This gang of four have renewed their friendship courtesy of the website friendsreunited.co.uk and have decided as a result of that experience to organise the reunion.

Said Mr Grandis: 'Some of us first met at primary school and have not seen each other for 24 years!

'We now live generally in the south area ranging from the Isle of Wight through to Basingstoke though we have been contacted by ex-pupils as far away as Australia.

'The type and size of the event will obviously depend on both numbers and the wishes of the participants and could range from a simple dinner evening to a weekend away.

The target date for the event will be the weekend of July 13-14, this year, since that is the weekend closest to the original last day of term.
