Fire in Herstmonceux

Firefighters have been called to a blaze in Herstmonceux today (March 16).

Four crews were sent to a fire which broke out in a house in Victoria Road at around 10.45am.

They are using two hose reel jets to fight the flames in a first-floor bedroom.

There are no reports of anyone inside the property, said East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS).
