Family offers reward for return of their missing puss

A family from Bognor Regis is hoping a £100 reward will lead to the safe return of their missing cat.

Lucy Robbins and her daughter Lily last saw their seven-year-old pet Molly on the August bank holiday weekend and are asking for help to track her.

A good-sized tortoiseshell tabby with short hair, brown and ginger spots and stripes, and a white bib and paws, she was wearing a pink collar with a bell.

Lily said: "Molly has a very shy and cautious personality. She is now even more timid as building work had taken place at her home over the past three months and during this time she was accidentally shut up in our loft and beneath the floorboards.

"As she is wary of people she doesn't know, it was a very traumatic time for her.

"As we were leaving for holiday on the August bank holiday we thought it best that she was left in the care of our nan at Aldwick Felds.

She added: "However she escaped from a fanlight window and is hopefully making her way back to our home in Christchurch Crescent on the West Meads estate.

"Many kind people have telephoned with possible sightings of Molly at Tinghall, Countisbury Close and the Aldwick duck pond.

"We all miss and love her so much and want her to come home, so if people wouldn't mind checking their garages and sheds for her it would be very much appreciated.

"If you happen to see Molly or have been kind enough to have fed and looked after her then please let us know."

There is a reward of 100 for the safe return of Molly. Anyone with

information should call 01243 868424 or 07510 271969.
