OPEN MORNING: Singing Tree Steiner Kindergarten’s next open morning in Falmer village to see the kindergarten in session will be on Wednesday from 11.30am to 12.30pm. Singing tree Kindergarten, Falmer Village Hall, South Street, BN2 9PT. To book your free place call 01273 3996300 (ext 2). Please leave your name, your child’s name, date of birth and an email and phone number to contact you on. On our kindergarten walks we have been lucky enough to spot herons and cormorants on occasion, as well as the more regular pond residents (ducks and geese).
DISCLAIMER: No heron sightings guaranteed on the open day, but if you are lucky you will see one of the resident terrapins sunbathing on a rock. If you stay for a picnic by the pond you are sure to spot the goslings. Do buy some grains to feed them at the Park Farm Shop, the kindergarten children love it when we feed them.

Hide AdFOOTBRIDGE UPDATE: It is still not completed. This is what it was like before we had a footbridge, to get to the other side of the village, you think twice before undertaking the roundabout route. We have been promised that it will be reopened at the end of this week, we hope so, it will be disastrous for the village if it is delayed another week, why? Because of the Flower Festival of course.
