EXCLUSIVE: No Aldi store planned for Horsham says supermarket chain

Jobstoday has adverts for a store manager, deputy store manager, assistant store manager, store assistants and stock assistants based in Horsham, raising hopes that Aldi was planning to open one of its discount stores in the town.

However the German-based discount supermarket chain confirmed this week it is not planning to open a store in Horsham.

An Aldi spokesperson told the County Times: “We don’t have a site in Horsham or planned.

“The advert is offering multiple positions from stock assistant upwards and directing applicants towards aldirecruitment.co.uk, in which case I suspect it is part of the Aldi Academy’s national advertising campaign so not for Horsham specifically.”
