Event will be a chance to learn more

LEARNING for life will be on show in Bognor Regis.

The Bognor Regis U3A will hold an open morning on October 25 from 10am until midday.

The informative event will be held in the meeting room of the Masonic Hall, in Canada Grove.

It will be an opportunity to learn what the U3A is all about and questions about how you could get involved.

Many of the organisation’s groups will have a display to explain what their group entails and how it is enjoyable to their members.

Group members and leaders will also be available to have a chat too.

U3A stands for University of the Third Age but it is not a university in the full sense of the word, as you need no experience and you need not be expert in anything.

Anyone no longer in full-time employment is eligible to be part of the U3A and the organisation is run by members for members.

If you are retired, working part-time and have time on your hands and are looking for something to keep your mind and body active, you are invited to come along to the open morning and learn more.

There are no set fees for the courses just a £15 annual fee, with some extra charges for certain events.

For those attending next Thursday’s event there is a public car park in the Queensway.

There will also be teas and coffees available for a small charge.

Admittance to the event is free of charge.
