Commuters thwarted by flooding enjoy canoeing on Horsham’s ‘Lake Bedford’
Chris Barraclough and his daughter Caroline had attempted to commute to London today (Monday January 6), but like many were unable to do so due to heavy flooding cancelling trains running through Horsham.
Instead the pair took to ‘Lake Bedford’, at the rear entrance to Horsham Railway Station, on their canoes to make full use of the temporary watercourse.

“It really is about time it was fixed once and for all.”
