Donate sun cream and hats for homeless

While many flock to the beaches to enjoy the sun, in the hot weather rough sleepers are at high risk of sunburn, heat stroke and dehydration, Brighton Housing Trust said.
The charity's homeless day centre, First Base, helps homeless men and women in Brighton and Hove by providing food, showers, clean and dry clothes, and support to get off the streets.

Hide AdDeirdre O' Halloran, deputy manager of First Base, said: “Being outside so much without adequate clothing and sun protection puts people who sleep rough at high risk of sunburn, heat stroke and dehydration.
"Your support in donating sun cream and sun hats to First Base clients will help improve their health and wellbeing over the summer months.”
