Designs on fashion title

TWO of Northbrook College's top fashion students are hoping their designs turn heads at a catwalk show in London.

Second-year students Olivia Bassett and Solitaire Hill, who are both aged 20, have been named as finalists in the prestigious 2008 Fashion Awareness Direct competition.

Their designs will be judged by a panel of industry experts during the contest catwalk show on April 22.

Solitaire and Olivia, who are both studying for BA (Honours) in fashion design, are two of only 12 finalists from around the country. They beat hopefuls from 13 universities and colleges for a coveted place in the competition final.
