Death of Worthing artist and teacher

ARTIST Kathleen Fielding has died.

The painter and adult education art teacher of Ophir Road, Worthing, died in a Bath hospital aged 94.

Kathleen, known as Kay, was well-known for her beautiful semi-abstract design work, her portraits and still-life paintings, and her landscapes.

Her nephew Tony Fielding said: "Above all, she will be remembered for her enthusiasm in all matters relating to art and design."

Her funeral is planned for 12.45pm on Friday, February 29 at Salisbury Crematorium.
