Cyclists raise money for Rye charity

A popular four route fun ride held by Rye Wheelers on Saturday October 31 raised money for the local ARRCC charity this year.

Starting from the Rye Creative Centre in New Road, riders of all ages signed up for one of four courses. The 20k ride a very easy escorted ride for families and beginners; the 40k taking in Romney Marsh; the 55K hilly route and the 100K - a very testing hilly course .

All the riders returned to the Centre for a well earned rest and lunch.

A total of £622 was raised and presented to ARRCC chief executive Grace O’Neill.
