Thieves target outbuildings in Horsham district

A number of outbuildings in the Horsham district have been targeted by thieves recently.

The lock was forced on the door of an out-room at a house in Horsham Road, Cowfold, on Thursday last week (March 2).

Antique collectable ornaments were stolen.

Last weekend (March 4/5) three sheds in Beech Road, Horsham, were broken into and garden tools stolen.

On Sunday three garages in Arun Road, Billingshurst, were broken into and there was an attempt to break into another.

A lawn mower was stolen.

In Comptons Lane, Horsham, there was attempt to break into an outbuilding, although no access was gained.

Finally, Sussex Police say that in Goring Road, Steyning, a rear patio door was forced and there was an untidy search with antiques and silver items stolen.
