Thieves steal ‘unique’ motorbike during Handcross break-in

An off-road motorcycle - described as ‘unique’ - has been stolen from a property in Handcross.

Police say they were called to the village High Street in the early hours of Monday April 13 following reports of two men staging a break-in and glass being smashed.

A police spokesman said: “The two men were seen to load the motorbike into the back of a white transit van and make off northbound in the direction of Pease Pottage.

“One of the suspects is said to have been wearing a parka type coat. Both men had their hoods up and faces covered.

“The bike that was stolen is a CCM C25 motocross bike. It is a unique blue and white model with the race number 406 on the rear fender.

“Anyone who sees the bike, or who may have any other information about the burglary, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 0031 of 13/04.”
