Police increase patrols in Eastbourne area following spate of crimes
Police have increased patrols in an area of Eastbourne in response to a recent spate of crimes.
Sussex Police said that on February 24, 25 and 26 they received a number of crime reports from the North Harbour area including two incidents of theft from a motor vehicle and two incidents of criminal damage.
Reports that two cars and a shop in the area had been broken into were also received, according to police.
Officers have been conducting additional patrols in the area to identify and deter any criminal behaviour, and to provide reassurance to those living in the vicinity.
Anyone who has witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area, or who has any information about any of the crimes, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency.
