Police hunt driver after A259 collision

Police are trying to trace the owner of a car involved in a collision on the A259.

Police are trying to trace the owner of a car involved in a collision on the A259.

Officers said they were called to East Dean Road, Seaford, shortly after 9am on Tuesday (June 23) to reports of a collision involving a black Audi, a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Volvo Estate.

The driver of the Volvo did stop and get out of his car but left the scene before police arrived, a Sussex Police spokesperson said.

Officers are now keen to trace the driver of the Volvo.
