Officers detained a 26-year-old man at about 12.42pm on Monday (May 18), in Southlands Road, Bexhill.
In a statement on Tuesday morning (May 19), a spokesman for Sussex Police said: “About 12.42pm on Monday 18 May, police responded to allegations of child grooming offences in Southlands Road, Bexhill.
“A 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of child grooming. He has been released on bail with stringent conditions until 15 June, pending further investigation.”
