Richard Stoffer, 75, of Bourne Street, Eastbourne, indicated a plea of guilty to an offence of outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, being found naked in a cemetery in full view of others. The offence took place at Eastbourne on August 18 last year. He also indicated a plea of guilty to behaving in an indecent manner at Ocklynge Cemetery, Willingdon Road, Eastbourne, on April 12 by exposing his genitals and buttocks and laying naked on a grave. Sentencing was adjourned until July 30 to allow for reports to be prepared and he was released on bail on the condition of not being naked from the waist down in sight of someone and not to go to Ocklynge Cemetery.

Neil Carter, 35, of Mabel Way, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot vehicle on South Road, Hailsham, on March 7, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 96 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. The court made a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and banned him from driving for two years.

Andrew Crowhurst, 41, of Watermill Drive, Polegate, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a Ford Ka vehicle on Wannock Road, Polegate, on February 27, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 82 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £163 and his driving record was endorsed with ten penalty points.

Lynsey Portingale, 35, of Orchid Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan vehicle on Priory Road roundabout, at Eastbourne, on February 29, while more than three times over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 134 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. The court made a community order with a requirement to participate in a drink impaired drivers programme and a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work. She was banned from driving for 33 months.

Frank Price, 65, of Brookside Avenue, Polegate, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. The offence took place at Eastbourne on May 8. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 250 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 28 months.

Katie Rands, 44, of Abbotts Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Kia vehicle on Firle Road, Eastbourne, on May 10, while over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 54 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was fined £140 and banned from driving for 40 months.

Christopher Rye, 51, of Upper Avenue, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on Upper Avenue, on May 7, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 44 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 14 months.

Marcus Savva, 21, of Baytree Close, Heathfield, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta on the A22 at Polegate, on March 7, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 60 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £230 and banned from driving for 17 months.

July 8:

Petrit Bresa, 32, of Pembury Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen vehicle on Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on November 25, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £400 and banned from driving for one year.

July 9:

James Finlayson, 33, of Hamsey Close, Eastbourne, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis. The offence took place at Eastbourne on March 8. He was fined £100.

Lee Taylor, 33, of Grassington Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing art supplies worth £501 from In Perspective Art at St Leonards Road, Bexhill, on June 21 last year. He was ordered to pay compensation of £250. He also pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Kingfisher Drive, Eastbourne, on February 4, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 60 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £600 and banned from driving for three years.

July 14:

Jennifer Harper, 34, of Fisher Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Fiat Punto on the A259 Barnhorn Road, at Bexhill, on May 7, while twice over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 76 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for 20 months.

Tina Simmons, 51, of Browns Lane, Uckfield, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota vehicle at Admiral Retail Park, Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne, on July 24, last year, without due care and attention. She was fined £400 and her driving record endorsed with five penalty points.

Martyn Pearson, 33, of Hillside Road, Chatham, Kent, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of cocaine with intent to supply. The offence took place at Jevington Gardens, Eastbourne, on March 19. He was committed to Maidstone Crown Court for sentencing on August 11.
