TWO teenagers have been arrested following a robbery in North Street, Lewes.

The boy and girl, both aged 16, are alleged to have demanded money from two 14-year-olds on August 20.

Both have since been released on bail while police carry out their inquiries.

POLICE are looking for two men who were seen loading lead into an unregistered van.

At around 8.20am on August 24 a white Daihatsu van pulled onto a gravel road in Station Street, Plumpton, and started to load lead into the rear of the van.

The owner challenged the men who dumped the lead and sped off in the van towards Lewes.

The van was found in Windover Crescent.

A check revealed the van had no current keeper listed with DLVA and it was seized for forensic examination.

FOUR young boys risked their lives by walking on railway track close to Lanport Road, Lewes, last week.

Following a police search of the area the youngsters were found.
