Concern mounting for missing Littlehampton girl

CONCERN is mounting for a missing 17-year-old girl from Littlehampton who has not been seen since the weekend.

Michaela Covey, known as Kayla, was last seen at a friend’s house in Pagham at about midday on Sunday (August 3).

The teenager has not contacted family or friends since and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

Michaela is white, six foot and very slim. She has shoulder length blonde hair swept over to one side. When she was last seen she was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt, a hooded top and trainers.

PC Lee Simmonds said: “This is very much out of her character for Michaela. She has never been out of contact with her family for this long and has no money or mobile phone with her.

“If anyone has any idea where she is or where she has been, please contact us.”
